SYRIAN REFUGEE CAMP VISIT IN LEBANON WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE HIMAYA NGO

First of all I would  like THANK Himaya BIG TIME. Himaya,  a Lebanese NGO, made it possible for me and Miss Stanhope to visit  the Syrian refugee camp in Ali Nahre in Zahle, about 50km east from Beirut.

Have a look at the FANTASTIC HIMAYA team I got to know on my trip to the camp. Right in the middle there is Ramona, who was by my side all the time. Helped me out with her hands and advice!

Not in the picture: Kim Hemshe and Joy Abi Habib... Those two ladies did a great job organizing this trip on such short notice,

For all of you, who don't know himaya: Himaya is a local NGO fighting child abuse in Lebanon since 2008. Himaya works on  public awareness campaigns" addressed to the general public to break the taboos, runs a "Resilience center" for the rehabilitation of abuse victims and their families. But himaya does so much more, have a look! https://www.himaya.org/ .

FINALLY I was able to do what I have been waiting for the last few weeks! Letting my fluffy siblings meet their new friends. So many beautiful smiles! Have a look at all those fluffies in the hands of Syrian children.

If you want to have an idea how those fluffies looked like while waiting for their trip to Lebanon:
